I, the Redwood, was censored for defending myself against the Rocker’s friends, who flamed me first and couldn’t handle my brilliant comebacks. They actually complained and whined and cried to the Rocker, and after “much thought,” the wise Solomon-like sysop decided to censor me. As in “no posting access.”
After I was censored, approximately 8-10 posts from Rocker’s friends went up on the NZ flaming me, AND I COULDN’T REPLY because the Rocker censored me and refused me posting access.
Maybe it’s not a big deal, folks. Maybe I’ve outlived my usefulness as a teaser and debate instigator. Maybe I should just become like everyone else, and you all become like each other. Stamp my forehead with a number, too. Differences in opinion should be avoided, okay? Oh what a wonderful wonderful world it is.
Let’s all live in pink and white peaceful enviroments, where assault weapons are banned and everyone has “politically correct” discussions on their lips and fingertips.
Personally, I’m on enough boards that are AMERICAN in spirit, with sysops who have a sense of humor and a code of ethics to protect ALL viewpoints and personalities, as long as physical threats are not made.
I have a lot of friends on boards who mistakenly thought at first my flames were personal and mean-spirited. Those who know me and have met me at raffles and fest keggers, know me to be easy-going and a jokester. I never turned my back on a friend, nor have I burned somebody because they spoke their opinion in a forum that I controlled. I never posted mean-spirited messages, although some were scathing, and dammit, them peoples asked fer it!
Rocker of Nymphozit can sit all day satisfied that he can silence the REDWOOD on his SLOOOOOOWWWWW and BORING board in, yes, believe it, Robert Dornan’s Orange County.
Celebrate, for censorship, a la Right Wing Christian Coalition, is alive and well on the Nymphozit, thanks to the Rocker and his cronies.
The other sysop, Kyra, has not made a statement concerning the censorship, but from my acquaintance with him, he is cool and aware, albeit sometimes tickled by some of my posts. He himself came up with the famous “ROOT ROT” mutation of my handle. I hope that by my favorable acknowledgement of him, that he is not ashamed and embarrassed of it.
Anyways, the Rocker can enjoy his puffy, fluffy, politically correct board, now that NZ doesn’t have the REDWOOD to “bother” his favored users, like Dp, db, Bart Simpson, and one or two others whose importance didn’t outlast their presence, so their memories have since diminished.
Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your support. Maybe someday I shall return, to be the scorn of all the bullies and those who just wish to test their meddle in a verbal, witty, non-personal way. Keep it Smooooth, bros!

Are you telling me that people can flame me and I can't answer them? What
about Dp, who started his flame on me when I was ASKING HIM FOR HIS HELP in my production situation! Don't even talk about Bart, he's never had a kind word to say to me in years. And Dead Banshee, he started ragging on me from some bullshit statement months ago.
I never flame anyone who doesnt flame me first. And I never start a flame,
that is my honest policy. I like a good flame, it helps build good character,
but those who take it personally shouldn't start them if they can't finish it.
As an INVITED member on Spam, BNest, Southside and many other top boards over the last eight years, including Macville and Nest West, I have never been subjected to such pussy shit "censorship" on any board.
The trouble is, Rocker, you have a closer relationship with those who feel they want to prove something to me, and you're sucking up to them, unbelievably. I have never threatened anyone with phsyical harm, unless they threatened me first. That only happened one time when Bart stated that he knew people on the board who wanted to use my face as a "mop".
Jeff, I've only met you three or four times. I paid to be in your raffles and
purchased your full set of CD's. If you have users and "friends" complaining about my posts, I'll bet you that the above users are the ones who complain. And you are close with them.
I've only done my flames with tongue in cheek, and don't take anything
personal unless it's a threat against me or my family.
It's too bad that you, as a Sysop, feel compelled to buckle at the knees
because a few of your obviously wimpy friends can't take what they dished out
to me and have whined about it to you incessantly. I refuse to believe that
you made this decision without undue pressure.
Shame on you, Rocker.
I'll come back on one time and I expect full posting privileges. If you see
me START a flame against someone, you can ban me forever. It's interesting
that you have at least 400+ users, and I've returned flames to about six of
them. They just happened to be the six cocky assholes who think they can
manipulate their power through you to get me censored.
Obviously, they were right.
If you don't apologize to me for your mistake and let me back on, your post

Anyways, this is some of the posts, and the way a few guys that flame me and I responded to in the past.
These guys all know each other. I have never met any of them. They are friends with the Rocker. So if you want to get on a “clubhouse” BBS, then join NZ, and if you follow all of their rules of etiquette (kiss the right people’s asses and read their pompous know-it-all posts), then you can participate.
If not, join the Redwood in hunting down the truth.

I would like to make a sad announcement. I, the REDWEIRD, ROOT ROOT,
DEADWOOD, ROTWOOD, ETC., have been censored and deleted from Nymphozit, the OC
finest.
It seems that my ascerbic wit got too witty and my flames gave the Rocker's
friends 3rd degree burns. I know you know the Rocker is the Sysop of NZ.
Anyways, all my buddies on the boards have been consoling me, because since
I'm in OC, it's kind of my main board for economical reasons.
But in order for me to have been allowed on, I would have had to kiss ass and
let other people flame me... under the spectre of the threat of being deleted!
I don't know about anyone else, but I was sure that most users were hackers,
phreakers, pirates, radicals, liberals, right wingers, racists, sexists,
perverts, and most of all, freedom loving.
One thing I thought the spirit of all this was that you were an American and
we all fight hard for the right for us citizens to express ourselves.
In the case of the REDWOOD and NYMPHOZIT, REDWOOD wins and loses. He wins his self respect by not cowering to oppression, but he loses a forum in which he communicated with many users, mostly friendly, but hey, you know me, I love a flame if you want to dance! No hard feelings as long as everyone takes it
tongue in cheek, like most of my buds have understood it to be.
I can take flames all day long without crying, as long as they aren't
threatening, as I'm sure everyone agrees.
But I think that a sysop's personal feelings about someone's confidence and
stoutness of spirit should not get in his way of allowing the person the
freedom to be a dick. Of course it's the sysops board and he can do what he
wants with it, that's HIS right. But he undermines the whole ideal ofpirate
boards by being biased against someone who's been on his board for 2 years.
I don't know, maybe I've just gotten too damn tough lately and I've got to
calm down, eat a jar of vaseline with Fofer, and become, well, tame.
Thank you for listening, and if you think I deserved to be censored, at least
don't be afraid to use YOUR right to free speech, post a yes or a no before
it's too late and you can't post at all without a "compliancy test".
